Have you ever been shopping in a store an saw an ad with a call to action that prompted you to do something. For instance, I recall shopping in the Tucson Mall one day and we were at a clothing store where an ad said text some word to their short code and receive an instance 10% off your purchase. Guess what? It worked. My daughter was buying something, well maybe it was me, but either way, we saved 10% on that purchase. The bigger picture here is that now they can send special offers to her mobile phone via text. If you are a retailer, this is huge for you. If you want to build a list of subscribers, offer them an incentive while they are shopping in your store!
